New Hampshire's state parks are a rich resource for recreation and education. Spend a day at the ocean or lake swimming and picnicking, explore the region by hiking or biking the miles of woodland trails, or choose a scenic campground as a base to explore the park and the local area. In the winter, snowmobile, snowshoe or go cross country and alpine skiing.
Conveniently located throughout the state, New Hampshire State Parks offer a lot year round, and they're a terrific value, too.
For more information, visit the New Hampshire State Parks website. Or download a PDF of state parks throughout the state, showing amenities, location and other information. You can also find more information in our 2008-2009 State Parks Guide which is now online. To view the guide click here.
There are also a number of local parks and recreation areas open to the public. Browse the list below or search by Region to find Parks you want to visit.
